The Philippine women's volleyball team, competing at the Southeast Asian Games for the first time since 2005, will need to topple the 7-time defending silver medalists Vietnam to have a chance to advance to the semifinals out of Group B in Singapore.
The Philippine women beat Malaysia and lost to Indonesia in straight sets, but will attempt to hand Vietnam its first loss of the tournament.
